What Are Turnstiles?
Turnstiles use revolving arms to control pedestrian access, allowing only one person at a time to pass through. They are commonly used in the reception area of commercial buildings, car parks, government and council facilities, stadiums, stations, schools and leisure facilities.
Turnstiles are a cost-effective way of restricting access to your facility and can be fully automated using card readers, biometric readers, keypads or remote intercom. In addition, turnstiles can be operated via ticket or coin insertion.

Types of Turnstiles
Half Height Turnstile
Half height turnstiles have the rotating arm at waist level. When activated by the user the arm rotates allowing access. They can be configured for either single directional use or bi-directional. Our half height turnstiles can be manually operated or fully automated. These are common in local government facilities such as libraries, schools and leisure facilities. They are also used extensively in commercial buildings.
Full Height Turnstile
Full height turnstiles are like a revolving door and offer maximum security as they can’t be jumped over. They can be manually operated or fully automated using card readers, biometric readers, keypads or remote intercom. Full height turnstiles can allow entry in just one direction or both. They are often used in stadiums and high security premise such as bonded warehouses in Glasgow, Edinburgh, Stirling, Fife & throughout Scotland.
